Una mirada retrospectiva a Cómpeta PhotoDays 2024: inspiración, innovación y comunidad
Cómpeta PhotoDays 2024 volvió a demostrar por qué es uno de los eventos más importantes del panorama fotográfico internacional. Del 3 al 7 de noviembre de 2024, el idílico pueblo de montaña de Cómpeta, en Andalucía, se convirtió en la meca de los entusiastas y creativos de la fotografía de todo el mundo. Con un variado programa de talleres, conferencias, exposiciones y eventos de networking, PhotoDays ofreció una plataforma única para profundizar conocimientos, encontrar inspiración y hacer contactos.
Talleres: Aprender de los mejores
Los talleres fueron la pieza central del evento y ofrecieron a los participantes la oportunidad de aprender directamente de expertos de renombre. Desde fotografía de retrato y paisaje hasta técnicas innovadoras: el programa no dejó nada que desear.
Especialmente elogiado fue el taller de Dina Lee y Roland Froschauer, que demostraron de forma impresionante cómo se pueden crear retratos emotivos mediante una iluminación específica. También fue muy popular el taller de fotografía callejera. Las estrechas calles y las pintorescas plazas de Cómpeta sirvieron de escenario perfecto para instantáneas auténticas y espontáneas.
Un punto culminante para los aficionados a la tecnología fue el taller sobre el uso creativo de la IA moderna. En él, los participantes pudieron descubrir nuevas perspectivas.
Exposiciones: Obras maestras en un ambiente especial
Las exposiciones fueron un festín visual y mostraron la diversidad de la fotografía en todas sus facetas. La exposición principal, en el centro histórico de Cómpeta, fue especialmente impresionante. Las obras presentadas, tanto por profesionales consagrados como por prometedores talentos, abarcaban desde expresivos retratos y cautivadores paisajes hasta obras de arte fotográfico experimental.
Destacó especialmente la instalación de Roland Froschauer, que desdibujaba los límites entre la fotografía y la instalación artística. Con creativos efectos de luz y sonido, hipnotizó a numerosos visitantes.
Redes y comunidad
Además del programa oficial, fueron sobre todo los encuentros informales los que hicieron que los PhotoDays de Cómpeta fueran tan especiales. En los encantadores bares de tapas de la ciudad o durante las visitas fotográficas conjuntas, se entablaron intensas conversaciones que a menudo desembocaron en contactos a largo plazo y colaboraciones creativas.
Los eventos nocturnos con música en directo y cocina regional redondearon perfectamente las jornadas y convirtieron el evento en una experiencia para todos los sentidos.
Emociones y perspectivas
Cómpeta PhotoDays 2024 fue mucho más que un evento fotográfico: fue una experiencia que reunió a personas de todo el mundo. Los participantes informaron de profundos momentos de inspiración, nuevos impulsos creativos y un sentimiento de pertenencia a la comunidad.

A look back at Competa PhotoDays 2024: inspiration, innovation and community
Competa PhotoDays 2024 once again proved why it is one of the most important events on the international photography scene. From 3 to 7 November 2024, the idyllic mountain village of Cómpeta in Andalusia became a mecca for photography enthusiasts and creatives from all over the world. With a varied programme of workshops, lectures, exhibitions and networking events, PhotoDays offered a unique platform for deepening knowledge, finding inspiration and making contacts.
Workshops: Learning from the best
The workshops were the centrepiece of the event and offered participants the opportunity to learn directly from renowned experts. From portrait and landscape photography to innovative techniques – the programme left nothing to be desired.
The workshop by Dina Lee and Roland Froschauer received particular praise, with the pair impressively demonstrating how to create emotional portraits using targeted lighting. The street photography workshop was also very well received. The narrow streets and picturesque squares of Cómpeta provided the perfect backdrop for authentic and spontaneous snapshots.
A highlight for technology fans was the workshop on the creative use of modern AI, where participants were able to discover new perspectives.
Exhibitions: masterpieces in a special setting
The exhibitions were a visual feast and showcased the diversity of photography in all its facets. The main exhibition in the historic centre of Cómpeta was particularly impressive. The works, presented by established professionals as well as emerging talents, ranged from expressive portraits to captivating landscapes and experimental photo art.
A particular highlight was the installation by Roland Froschauer, which blurred the lines between photography and art installation. With creative light and sound effects, it captivated numerous visitors.
Networking and community
In addition to the official programme, it was the informal encounters that made the Competa PhotoDays so special. In the charming tapas bars of the town or on joint photo tours, intensive conversations developed, often leading to long-term contacts and creative collaborations.
The evening events with live music and regional culinary delights rounded off the days perfectly and made the event an experience for all the senses.
Emotions and outlook
The Competa PhotoDays 2024 were much more than just a photography event – they were an experience that connected people from all over the world. Participants reported profound moments of inspiration, new creative impulses, and a sense of belonging within the community.
