A photographic search for traces

Nadja Gusenbauer, was born in 1967 in Kiev. After her studies at the State University of Technologies & Design in Kiev and with a professional background, Nadja left Ukraine in 1998 to face new professional challenges in Europe. Since 2003 she has been intensively involved in photography and in 2010 she opened Atelier LIK in Vienna. She teaches in the areas of image design and black and white photography at the LIK Academy of Photography and Design. Since 2012 she designs and publishes the photo magazine FOTOCULT with her partner Eric Berger.

It was probably a coincidence that it was 5 minutes to 12 when I looked at the clock in the control room of reactor 2 at the Chernobyl disaster power plant.

Why I was in the exclusion zone and even in the power plant in the first place, my feelings, experiences and also my photographic impressions I tell and show in the context of the Competa Photo Days
